Publishing procedure

Submission of the text EDUsfera Academic Press publishes peer-reviewed research texts, single-author and multi-author monographs, collective studies that constitute meta-analyses or original research reports, as well as academic textbooks that have not been previously disseminated. Authors are required to send the text file and necessary graphics by e-mail to: wydawnictwo@edusfera.press

Review procedure Submitted texts are reviewed. Registered and anonymised works are reviewed by two independent reviewers according to the double-blind review principle, i.e., both the identity of the reviewer and the author are concealed during the review process. It is also acceptable to perform an open review if there is no conflict of interest between the reviewer and the author. Obtaining two positive reviews conditions the admission of the monograph to the further publication procedure. The reviewer may not be in any way related to the author (be the author’s promoter, collaborator, etc.). Reviewers are obliged to observe the publishing ethics of the Publisher by the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Editorial requirements After receiving positive reviews, the author of the text is obliged to make corrections according to the reviewers’ and editors’ comments. The editorial requirements of the works correspond to APA (https://apastyle.apa.org/) or Chicago (https://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/tools_citationguide.html) bibliographic standards.

Publication fees The publication of monographs, collective studies, and academic textbooks is financed by publication fees, which are determined in each case after reviewing the text and graphics sent to the publisher. By the Open Access model, no fee is charged for the electronic version of the publication.

Copyright and economic rights information EDUsfera Academic Press holds the copyright to the published content, based on agreements with the authors of the texts. The monographs are published under the CC-BY-SA 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/legalcode) licence (Attribution - Under the same conditions 4.0), which is expressed in the requirement to provide the surname of the author and the place of first publication in each case.

Open Access The monographs published by the EDUsfera Academic Press are published according to the Open Access model, which means that all the content is freely accessible without any payment from the users or the institutions they represent. Users are entitled to read, download, copy, distribute, print, or link to the full texts of the monographs without the prior permission of the publisher or author. This entitlement is following the definition of Open Access (https://isap.sejm.gov.pl/isap.nsf/DocDetails.xsp?id=WDU19940240083) formulated by BOAI https://www.budapestopenaccessinitiative.org/ (Budapest Open Access Initiative) and Polish copyright law (Act of 4 February 1994 on Copyright and Related Rights, Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland 1994 no. 24 item 83 as amended).
